The original maker would be pleased that an unknown quilter took the time to finish. I so agree with you about gifts for teens and older as most of what they would like would come from Best Buy, a store that is completely out of my comfort zone. The hardest part of getting things to the finished stage is dealing with those pesky assembly problems, looks like you found a great solution. My family has decided to cut back on the shopping for Christmas. Both my daughter and my niece are in college, so there are no little ones to shop for.
