Good Morning Quilters!
Santa visited our family Saturday while we were dining in Frankenmuth, Michigan. He told me I AM on his GOOD LIST this year, and he also said it’s been quite a few years since I’ve been on the good list, so he was very proud of me! I was so happy with the good news I asked him if I could have a photo:
The quilting has been slow this week around here, and is probably going to continue to be slow until the new year. I did take a redwork square with me in the car to work on while we were traveling. It is a little log cabin:
We had 12 inches of snow Friday night and Saturday. Sunday morning I took a picture while sitting in my bed, looking out the window toward the woods behind us. It is so beautiful, and looks just like it should for Christmas week. I love it.
What is happening in your quilt room during the holidays? I am excited about the new year starting soon, and am planning on setting new goals for getting more quilts completed.
Merry Christmas to you all! I shall share some of my Christmas decorations with you next Monday. But for now, let’s see what you are up to. Join in the Design Wall Monday Linky Party below and show us. Do mention our party within your post and invite others to join us. Thank you.
We didn't get that much snow last week but we're supposed to have lake effect snow later this week so who knows how much we'll end up with? Have a blessed Christmas with your family, safe driving in the snow! Happy stitching and Happy Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure santa is mistaken, you have been a good girl all along. Merry Christmas
ReplyDeleteThe snow does look really pretty. I'm just hoping all the precipitation holds off till Grad Girl gets home later this week. Enjoy the holiday. It should be really fun since Santa has you on the good girl list.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that you're on the "nice" list... I wonder what Santa will bring you?!?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful snowy scenes out your window!
I haven't written a Monday post yet... might have time later today.
that is an adorable looking Santa and Mrs.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun photo with Santa! Your snow is beautiful - and looks just like it does here in eastern SD. We finally got significant snow. It actually looks like Christmas here now.
ReplyDeleteI think you misunderstood, Judy. Santa was saying that you have been on the good list for too long. He was giving you permission to be naughty. After all, if you have never been naughty, how can you be nice? It is all relative, you know :-D Merry Christmas to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteYour snow pic is so pretty. Happy Holidays to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that picture of you with Santa! You look just as delighted as a little child! I definitely vote for putting you on the Good List this year! Your redwork is looking lovely, too and I am just so envious of that peaceful blanket of new fallen snow! Merry Christmas, Judy!
ReplyDeleteRed work is perfect for this time of year - and the snow on Christmas Day was so lovely - would like a little more here but without the frigid temps!
