I hope you are not caught in the blizzard that has hit the east coast. Here in Grand Rapids, we are not in this storm, but we still have snow on the ground.
An accomplishment this week: I quilted downstairs on my sewing machine! First time since knee replacement January 7th. The project? I am quilting the cross stitch Jane Stickle little quilt. I just quilted simple lines between blocks. Here is a picture of it on top of my bedsized Jane Stickle quilt. It was such a fun project. I will finish quilting it this week, and I hope to get the binding on it this week too.

Your little Jane is very cute, it's perfect for your mini quilt collection. I'm glad you were able to navigate the steps, soon you'll be working on indigo Jane again. Happy stitching!
ReplyDeleteLet me remember -- you finished that gorgeous cross stitch in four weeks -- Didn't you? I'll look forward to seeing Indigo Jane.
ReplyDeleteAnyone who can finish 1 Dear Jane quilt has earned my respect. And you are working on a second one - plus the tiny cross stitch version - WOW!! Good for you that you are feeling up to getting back to your sewing machine. The new knee must be doing well.
ReplyDeleteI just realized that you are so fortunate to be in the same town as Sentimental Stitches. I have discovered her little blocks. I have always admired your projects and now I know where you are lucky enough to get inspiration and supplies. Fantastic big and little Dear Janes.
