Also, if I had sheets hanging from a clothes line and blowing in the breeze in the back yard, there is no way my puppy could resist pulling them down! :-)Rebecca Gracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14801489818836195754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5483715812459941947.post-1448627968710241842020-07-06T14:44:15.718-04:002020-07-06T14:44:15.718-04:00I also have a clothes pin bag. I purchased it online from a lady in Britain who made them (I'll use past tense as I don't have a link any more) It looks like a pink print dress with a white apron. So practical. And my 'pins' I bought at a museum in Germany. It was an outdoor museum where they had taken apart and brought to the location and reassembled historic buildings. (not government important but everyday houses and farms from the area). They opened some that were 'ready' for visitors, others you could walk around from the outside. All set in rolling hills with appropriate farm animals and such. On come days they had demonstrations of crafts and daily activities. I love those open-air museums. And my pin bag with hand crafted pegs. :)
Helenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14217649175025066003noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5483715812459941947.post-5180786043072870832020-07-06T11:48:50.896-04:002020-07-06T11:48:50.896-04:00Your album blocks look great. I realized years later that it was partly my mother's reaction to having grown up during the Depression and also because she used the yard as a flower garden, not an extension of the laundry room. It wasn't until I was an adult that we had a clothesline in a couple of our houses -- not this one, however. I still have the clothespins, but not a cute cloth holder like yours.

The pink setting fabric complements the album baskets very nicely!

Nannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09239289676429380866noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5483715812459941947.post-44110733688544507052020-07-06T08:01:16.538-04:002020-07-06T08:01:16.538-04:00I haven't dried things out on a line in years ...I haven't dried things out on a line in years - I don't even have a line anymore! Allergist told me not to as my allergies to pollen things are bad - grasses, trees etc. I always liked sheets on the line thoughKaren - Quilts...etc.https://www.blogger.com/profile/07293429657903986492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5483715812459941947.post-51652610255747805252020-07-06T07:38:44.076-04:002020-07-06T07:38:44.076-04:00That's a very cute laundry pin bag. Good luck with your album block quilts. Looking forward to seeing your new setting for the latest one. Nothing like going to bed having crisp fresh line dried sheets. I always think I sleep better those nights. We harvested wheat Saturday so today we start baling straw. Hopefully we'll be finished by Wednesday. Happy stitching!Gretchen Weaverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11163051875559827310noreply@blogger.com
