My design wall has a new UFO on it that has some issues. More than my usual issues.
Here is a picture of prigress:
See these two pieces? They should be the same, but are not.
I discovered that my pieces were cut using different angles on my ruler. Some at 60 degree, some at 45 degree.
Here is a picture of the quilt, from the kit:
I am using the size diamonds that I have the most of to see what I can salvage from my cutting mistakes. (I cut about 75% of diamonds at wrong size.) Anyway, it is a new challenge to be figured out.
What challenges are you facing in your quilting life this week? What good things are happening in your life? I have an amyrallis about ready to show off all its beauty. I will take another picture of it next week, when it is in full bloom.
Please join our Design Wall Monday Linky Party below, and tell us all about your week. Thanks so much for all of our faithful participants.

I hate it when I mess up on my cutting. I bet your 75% wrong ones will look terrific. Could you use them in the middle, a little border strip, and then do another border using the bigger diamonds? It would be a challenge but you'd be able to use all of them together. Here's hoping you come up with something you like.
Maybe 2 small projects - each using a different size block? That way you can use all of those you cut wrong. Whatever you decide to make it will be lovely because the fabrics are so pretty.
Ohhh that is a challenge - and bummer too - that is going to be a great quilt. I love the *Antiqueiness* of it!!! FIngers crossed you can salvage the quilt!
Oh Judy, my quilting life is beautiful. All challenges are in my personal and professional life. Alas!
A bummer and a challenge. Sorry you messed up the cutting. Can you use the smaller ones in the quilt? If not, maybe make two smaller quilts? I know that won't be the same... I'm sure you'll figure out what to do. The fabrics are beautiful.
