Good Morning Quilters!
Can you believe one month in 2026 is gone? February came so fast for me, but I guess it is understandable, since I’ve been on the couch most of January. My knee is feeling much better and the swelling is going down. I’ve ditched the cane and am walking without any assistance. But also I’m not out much in the ice and snow.
While recuperating and icing my knee, I’m working on the cross stitch of Jane Stickle’s quilt. If you want to know more about the kit, see my blog post last week. It seems to be going fairly fast, and I’m on the second quarter of the pattern. I miss quilting, but will get back to it when this little project is done.
Here’s what my progress looks like so far:
What are you working on? Please post your picture below and ad a link to your blog post. We have such talented quilters here, and I always enjoy reading your blog posts and looking at your pictures. Thank you for faithfully participating.

Cold weather (and so extreme) can wreak havoc on delicate knees. Take care and feel better soon. Looks like the cross-stitch project will keep you happily busy :-)
It looks like a Jane cross-stitch goes a lot faster than a Jane quilt. Great to hear that you're recovering. None of us are going out much in the ice and snow.
The cross stitched Jane will be perfect for show & tell in April. I'm glad you are healing well, stay safe and in the house, happy stitching!
I could never do that kind of stitching anymore, but I wish I could. Prayers your knee is fully recovered and you are back to quilting soon.
Judy it’s good to hear you are making progress with the knee. Love your stitchery. Don’t fret; you’ll be back to quilting before you know it.

My answer really is that I am working on too many things, or that I have too many things to work on.
