Good Morning Quilters!
The Jane Stickle Doll Quilt (replacement for the lost one) is coming along nicely. I seem to average one block a day, as I finished seven blocks this week. That is good progress for me right now, as gardening outside has kept me busy too. The weather has been fantastic lately.
Here is the latest picture of the counted cross stitch project:
One nice serendipity this last week was that I received a large bouquet of Peonies from our neighbors. They were leaving town for a vacation, and picked them for me to enjoy while they were away. Wasn’t that a nice thing to do? Amy took my picture with them just after I had received them.

What a lovely bouquet! Peonies are one of my favorite flowers.
Great to see a face with a blog writer. Those peonies are awesome.
that's a wonderful gift! Peonies are so lush anyway, and that color pink! You look really pretty holding the bouquet too... happy sewing

Peonies are so pretty, one of my favorite flowers. We had dark red ones at the farm where I grew up (Norway). Here, I don't see them, I don't think they like the climate here; hot and humid. Great progress on JS stitchery. My hands are itching to do cross stitching, but ... UFOs first of all! Sigh! Have a great week!
Great progress on your cross stitch quilt. Great big fun bouquet! My peonies are looking good right now, too. That's a very pretty shade of soft pink.
I miss our Peonie bush and I don't even think my daughter's bloomed this year.
I love peonies, wish them would bloom year round. Love the Dear Jane cross stitch project!
