Good Morning Quilters! Here is my design wall as it looks right now:
There are 14 Lemoyne Stars that are yet to be completed - most of them have the center star parts sewn together, and just need the outside background edges attached (with the set-in seams). I pinned them up on the wall. There are only four that do not have the center parts sewn together. You can see where these four will go - in the blank spots on the design wall. I will have to trim all the blocks to the right size, as I tend to make the outside corners/triangles in the Lemoyne Stars a bit bigger that the instructions call for - as I dislike blocks that are too little when I go to trim them up. The four remaining stars are in a stack in the picture below too.
So here is my assembly line of Drunkard's Path blocks. I am on the home stretch, with only about 20 of the concave/convex parts to sew together. Yeah! I should finish that part this week, and then the assembly of the quilt top will be easy-peasy. I have enough to make it 5 X 5 blocks, I think.
What is on your design wall? Design floor? Or table? Please show us so we can see your progress. Thanks for participating. Please provide a link back to this post from somewhere within your blog. I really enjoyed looking at all of your blogs this past week, and at your progress pictures.

The star quilt is beautiful! Those Lemoyne Stars look great. You have been moving along on design wall projects. Happy stitching this week.
That quilt is a beauty! Are the Lemoyne stars appliqued to the background fabric? Your dogs are cute! When we had dogs, they always preferred Hubby over me, only spending time with me when he wasn't here. But the cat was like your Mojo, always wanting to be near me. That's a special blessing.
I have an always at my feet one too! He's the older dog and total mama's boy. The younger brother usually hides under the bed, but will join us when he needs attention. So funny how they attach to certain family members. Everything looks good!
You've made good progress with the LeMoyne quilt, happy stitching!
I do miss having a warm furry body at my feet. They are good company!
Love how that Lemoyne Star is looking. It's such a visually striking quilt.
Those Lemoyne Stars are so fabulous, Judy! Do you hand piece them? I have a couple of Lemoyne Stars to do for my sampler quilt, when I get back to it, and I've never made that block before. I did find a hand piecing tutorial on YouTube for the block but was curious about any other methods or construction tips. Your quilt looks amazing up on the wall!
what good snoopervisors you have!
You are making great progress on both projects. As much as I hate spending the time to square up blocks it generally makes putting the quilt together so much easier. Love the doggy pictures. They must be great companions for you and your hubby.
Your Lemoyne Star quilt is looking amazing and so are you Drunkard Path blocks. Thank you for hosting the link party. Happy quilting.
Hi Judy, I would never have the patience to make even one drunkard's path, let alone a whole quilt. My Chevy is also a rescue and is only occasionally starting to believe me when I say stay. Usually it's nearer the end of the day when she's tired :-O
Both of your quilts (and your dogs) are gorgeous! Take care.
