Good Morning Quilters!
I just got my May Day Baskets quilt back from Sue Daurio, who quilted it for me. Here are pictures of her beautiful work (pictures copied from Sue’s Instagram account):
Sue’s website is (Here) She also quilted my little matching doll quilt, and I’m working on binding this little quilt today:
Both quilts make me so happy. It makes my quilting mojo return in full force.
The weather is turning colder here in Michigan, and binding these two matching quilts is a perfect way to spend this week while inside. Most of the beautiful leaves are floating down to the ground and now the ground under the trees show a beautiful display of color.
What are you working on today? Please join in our Design Wall Monday Linky Party below and show us a picture, and provide a link to your blog so we can read about it. Thanks for joining in, you are appreciated.

truly beautiful and so full of talent
Wow! Both quilts turned out beautifully! They were gorgeous to start with, but the quilting really takes them up a notch. Enjoy the slow stitching time.
Your basket quilts are so beautiful! The quilting is exactly the same as a quilter would have hand quilted 100 years ago.
Your quilts turned out stunning!
Oh wow - that is just stunning!!! You two make an amazing pair!!!
Sue's exquisite quilting does justice to your beautiful embroidery!!
The quilting is amazing and really beautiful.
Gorgeous quilting to complete your 2 tops! Sue does such an incredible job and I used to follow her blog. I know she lives about an hour away from me. But your stitching of the baskets is wonderful and that finish just takes the cake!
That is just amazingly gorgeous.
Hi Judy, the quilting on your quilts make them both heirloom pieces. It has really made the best of your lovely embroidery. Congrats on two wonderful finishes!
Beautiful quilting to complement your beautiful work!
