Also, I hung a new wreath on the front door.
(The little girl in me says "Ta-Da!!") The grown-up girl in me looks up the meaning of ta-da.

Today what is needed is unpacking quilting supplies and fabric that were taken to Michigan for the summer. Also the quilt room could stand a good cleaning up. Neither option is happening. What am I doing? Sewing nine patches. When I feel the need to postpone cleaning up the quilt room, nine patches are in order. Peaceful piecework. Definitely in my happy zone when I am making nine patches.
This is the start of today's sewing:
Which is part of this quilt kit I bought. It's from
I will set the timer for 20 minutes and get to cleaning and organizing the room, with rewards at the sewing machine when I finish a job.

I love your wreath--wpnderful nine patch serenity..hugs, Julierose
Fall is here....:)....great wreath.
Isn't this weather gorgeous! I live in Yorktown...
Love the wreath... so simple, yet what a statement it makes about fall! Easy to understand why your happy zone is with making 9 patch blocks... I don't think "cleaning" and "happy zone" belong in the same sentence!
Love this time of the year.
Your wreath and new project is delightful!
Carolyn :)
Fall, you are welcome! What a stunning entry wreath, I love this!
I love nine patches so will love this quilt but I think its from Moda no????
look forward to seeing more of it
Kathie
I'm such a fan of the 9-patch! Yours are great, and I love the pattern! Welcome home to Williamsburg!
You are correct, it's Moda. Collection for a Cause is a fabric line put out each year to benefit a charity, and was started by Howard Marcus Dunn, owner of United Notions, makers of Moda Fabrics. Since his name had Marcus in it, I went down the wrong path.....Thanks for the correction, Kathie.
great wreath - the ribbon is fantastic.
