My fellow blogger at Huckleberrystitches.blogspot.com, Tilda, has chosen a doll quilt called "Honeybee" to challenge people to make in August. It's in a book by Kathleen Tracy, and I looked at her quilt, and decided to make a replica of the vintage quilt that Kathleen Tracy had patterned her doll quilt after. My doll quilt is 15 inches square, before I quilt and bind it.
And here's a picture of the quilt Kathleen Tracy calls "Honeybee.":
I like all three, but then I like all doll quilts, don't I?
What are you working on this week? I am looking forward to seeing all the pictures in your links.

Another excellent rendition!
They are all gorgeous doll quilts. Love Kathleen Tracy's work. Have fun with your lovely version!
So sweet! I love any design with some orange peels! :-)
Very nice, and good use of color. I'm just getting back into quilting after a long hiatus. Do you remember which book it's in?
Yes, It's in Kathleen Tracy's book "Small and Scrappy".
Thank you, Small and Scrappy is the only one of KT's books I don't have., no wonder I couldn't find it. Amazon, here I come. I look forward to following your blog again. Love, love, love doll quilts.
I like how much like the original yours looks, even though the fabrics aren't exactly the same. You did a great job with it.
All three are pretty. You did a great job of reproducing the original.
Wow, your fabrics are nearly identical to the originals! You must have a fantastic stash of reproduction prints to work with. I really love this one; very pretty!
