Good Morning Quilters!
It’s the last Monday in 2022, and I will be spending this week planning how to tackle my UFOs next year, how to organize my quilt room to enjoy my time there more, and how to finish quilts without long pauses during the process. It is an exciting time in my quilting journey, so I hope to have weekly plans and goals to share with you in the new year.
Did you have a nice Christmas? We did! I was singing…..”The weather outside was frightful but the fire is so delightful”…….We spent Christmas day at our son’s home in front of their very big fireplace, all cosy and warm. Grand Rapids got slammed with a blizzard over Christmas with frigid temps, snow, and high winds blowing the snow all around. Blizzard warnings were in effect for the first time in over 10 years here.
I enjoy seeing all of your Christmas pictures so I will show you today some Christmas pictures from my house. Merry Christmas! I hope you enjoy them.
I’m looking forward to reading your year end posts, hearing about your Christmas, and how much snow you had, or didn’t have. Link up below and let us know what you are doing in this last week of 2022. Thank you so much for joining the Design Wall Monday Linky Party this week. Please mention it in your blog so others can join us.

Your snowmen are so cute! We didn't get much snow but we had the frigid temps and wind here also. I hope to get to my sewing room today but the first job is to do the tax papers that need to be filed before the end of the year, blah! But it has to be done. Enjoy deciding how to prioritize your UFQ's!
Love your finished tree topper, Judy!!! Sitting by the fireplace with family sounds perfect! We got quite a bit of snow, plus that cold weather here in MN. So much so that Christmas Eve candlelight service was cancelled. But Christmas Day and we were all back on our feet and gathering for church and 2 family get togethers!
You and Penny snuggled with the feathered star quilt is adorable!
Such a sweet and cozy photo of you and Penny! Merry Christmas!
I am a snowman lover also and have made many over the years, so I really enjoyed seeing yours. Happy Holidays!
Love your snowman collection. Mine will be going up at the end of the week as we take Christmas things off the mantel. I like your red and white quilts. I'm pulling my spider web blocks out and see if I can finish them up, quilt and bind them before mid February for a quit guild red and white challenge. Keep snuggling up with those great quilts and stay warm.
Like almost everyone else in the country we had wind and cold temps over the weekend. I live about 60 miles east of the Buffalo airport. They got 43" of snow at last count, while we had less than an inch. That's the power of lake effect snow. I have a large snowman collection, too, but some of them won't come out to play until the Santas retire for the year. Happy New Year, Judy.

Glad you were able to enjoy the holiday with family. We were lucky to have traveled before it got bad here. Love the nap picture, that's a nice way to spend a cold holiday. Looking forward to hearing about your plans for UFO finishing. I could use some tips on how to tackle my stack.
No snow in SoCal but lots of traffic! Love your Angel, red and white quilt and snowmen. Hope your New Year is happy!
Your treetopper and quilts are so pretty, but I'm especially taken with the cute snowmen, despite the fact that I don't like snow. I do think snowmen crafts are cute. We live about 2.5 hours north of Grand Rapids, so we have snow, snow, and more snow.
I hope your new year brings many blessings.
Your treetopper is magnificent as are your beautiful quilts. What a wonderful collection of snowmen that you have .I hope your Christmas was a joyous one. Have a very lovely week .
So nice to got to be with family and better yet; snug and cozy by the fire. Love your quilts, your beautiful tree topper and those precious snowmen.
love that row of snowmen
Good to hear you were able to enjoy family time despite the blizzard. Happy holidays to you
Hi Judy, I'm so glad that you had a good Christmas (and in front of the fireplace - that's so awesome!). I had a wonderful time here with my family - it was truly special! I love the picture of you and Penny taking a nap - you look so cozy! I've also just worked out my goal for 2023. Busy but "learning by playing, with mindfulness and contentment" is my intention for the year. I'm going to make that happen! Thanks so much for being a part of my quilting life. You are greatly appreciated :-)
Your nap quilt is gorgeous! Could we see the whole quilt?
Aww, that couch snuggle with your quilt and your pup is too cute!
