Progress is happening on my two quilts on the design wall. The Jane Austen quilt now has sashing between the blocks of the top left corner area. I moved them down on the design wall near the bottom, so I can reach them better. Here is a picture of this week’s progress (circled blocks):
And another block laid out, ready to assemble by the sewing machine. Only one more block to make after this one.
Joan Brink is making the same quilt, and we have a goal of getting the center section assembled by the second week of November. I like to have goals to meet, it helps me along. Do you?
This has been such a busy month around here. I hope you have had more quilting time than I have had. It is so beautiful outside that I’m finding it hard to stay inside. But winter will come and I will be glad to be inside soon.
What have you been pinning onto your design wall? Please join us in our Design Wall Monday Linky Party below and show us. Thank you to all who participate. You make my day!

You are making good progress on both of these quilts. It is lovely outside this autumn and it is hard to stay inside the house. Winter is definitely the time to make progress with sewing and quilting. Happy stitching!
Awesome progress on both quilts! Yes, I have a goal list every week with those goals usually pulled from my monthly list. And I keep a spreadsheet of project status - which my family thinks is crazy. LOL
